“The reason why I started this profile is because I’m sick and tired of working a 9 to 5 corporate job that under appreciates me, under values me, and a boss that drives me crazy.

That’s why I started my own Internet business, and that’s why I created this profile, so I can help other people that are thinking about starting a home based business of their own and find themselves in a similar situation like mine.

Hopefully my story will inspire you to discover a better alternative like I have. However, before I get into all that…let me tell you a little bit more about myself.”

I’m a devoted husband, proud father of two sons and an entrepreneur. My wife is a teacher and our sons are full time student athletes.

I’m a Pennsylvania native…I grew up in California and I’m currently living in Northern Nevada where Colleen and I are raising our sons.

My passion is snow skiing, and I’m fortunate to live in the middle of some of the best ski country in the world.

My sons and I enjoy nearby skiing at Lake Tahoe whenever we get a chance…in the summer; we turn our attention to golfing and fishing. We are truly blessed to live in an outdoor paradise surrounded by all this natural beauty.

All of us are huge basketball fans…our favorite teams are the UCLA Bruins, and the Los Angeles Lakers…my wife and I are very involved in our community’s youth basketball program as volunteer coaches, and have had the privilege of coaching our boys, and their friends… “It’s been a lot of fun throughout the years.”

After graduating from high school… I served four years in the Marine Corps. “It was a great experience that taught me many valuable life skills.”

When I returned home I landed a good job with a “good company”…and began my professional career in sales.

I was shocked when I found out that my job after fifteen years with the same company was over because of a merger acquisition that left me unemployed for the first time in my life.

I was devastated that it could disappear in the blink of an eye…I eventually got back on my feet but I had lost all confidence in what I believed in.

If you’re like me you’ll understand how difficult it can be when you realize that there is no such thing as job security or loyalty in Corporate America.

This was a real gut check for my wife Colleen and I. We were newly married with our newborn son Kyle at the time and this life changing experience really rocked our world.

At this point I realized that this was my opportunity to put all my business and sales experience to good use and fulfill my dream of becoming an entrepreneur and owning my own business.

So we set out to start our own business and in 1994 we established a full service food & beverage vending company that we started from scratch on a shoestring budget.

We gradually built the business up by reinvesting our profits back into the business along with our sweat equity. We didn’t make a whole lot of money in the beginning but with a lot of blood, sweat and tears we eventually prevailed financially.

Even though we had achieved financial success the business required our constant attention managing day-to-day activities.

As the business grew it became increasingly difficult for us to get away from the business. So in 2005, we decided to sell the business to a friendly competitor and I went to work for coffee service company as a sales consultant.

I new in my heart that this was just a temporary situation and after a couple of years I became bored with the daily routine of a 9 to 5 job. It was about as exciting as watching paint dry.

Let me paint a picture for you. Every day is the same routine I’m rudely awakened by the most obnoxious sound in the world my alarm clock… Whoever created the alarm clock must have been a miserable individual looking for a way to ruin someone’s day.

After the alarm shock, I drag myself out of bed to the shower and put on the same ridiculous suit… Then I have to get in my car and race down the highway with all the other stressed out crazies trying to get to their dead end jobs on time…

When I get there I have to deal with a boss I don’t respect, office politics, and a company that under values and under appreciates my efforts… After the morning meetings I prepare myself for the day and start the cycle all over again, “Rinse repeat.”

It wasn’t a good fit for me. I’m an entrepreneur at heart and once you get a taste of running the show it’s very difficult working for someone else.

So I began searching the internet for opportunities that offered financial independence, time freedom and enjoyment of a better quality of life for my family and I.
